Madeleine Joel was admitted in 1998 and is an Accredited Specialist (Family Law). She has practiced exclusively in family and prior to joining Gordon & Barry she worked in two specialist law firms. Madeleine has extensive experience in both parenting and financial matters for married, same sex and de facto couples.

Zippy Chan was admitted as a solicitor in 2007 and is an Accredited Specialist (Family Law). Zippy has been included in the Doyle's Guide as a "Recommended" lawyer in the category "Leading Parenting & Children’s Matters Lawyers – New South Wales, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023".
